- Assist the Product Manager in requirements gathering & feature prioritization.
- Assist in the definition and execution of product features.
- Ensure the product backlog is maintained and is up to date.
- Ensure thorough software and feature testing.
- Assist the team in ensuring timely and on-budget product releases.
- Update Jira with feature progress and relevant information like use cases.
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date product and process documentation.
- Provide expertise in operational processes related to booking, ticketing, and invoicing.
- As the Assurance Products liaison with Traveller Care Operations, ensure that product design is aligned to operational processes for an uninterrupted customer experience.
- Review product operational performance, monitor ticket and booking reject rates, and resolve any issues to improve our automation success rate.
- Provide level 3 product support for any issues reported.
- Compile and analyse system reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Responsibility for generating product reporting.
- Communicate on progress of roadmap deliverables, and product performance and provide detailed, user-friendly product feature release notes.
- Project management for roadmap items as needed.
Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience working as part of or collaborating with technology teams delivering supply-facing products.
- 3+ years, of backend testing of products working with, XML, JSON, databases, and APIs.
- 5+ years, of detailed knowledge of corporate travel booking and fulfilment processes.
- Expert level GDS experience required (Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport).
- Travel industry API experience and knowledge are a plus.
- Good understanding of technology and agile product development lifecycle and working on product features.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
